Humanistic client-centered approach in assisting individuals to mobilize their inner strength...
Bruce Ottenbreit, ACSW, LMSW
My ideal client is an individual who feels as if their world is beginning to unravel emotionally, socially, spiritually, and physically. Often such feelings are precipitated by acute, post-traumatic or situational stress. Personal relationships often begin to show signs of strain and bouts of depression and anxiety as constant companions. For me, the process of psychotherapy is based in a relationship where my clients are afforded an opportunity to open up inner hurts and past trauma in a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment. My office setting is relaxing and reflects my deep commitment to my clients’ well being.
I have had extensive experience and post-graduate training in the process of individual and group psychotherapy. I specialize in cultivating a therapeutic relationship with a humanistic client-centered approach in assisting individuals in mobilizing their inner strength to work through irrational fears, anxiety, depression and dysfunctional behavior and relationships.
Bruce really helped me to work through some of the roughest times of my life. When I first meet Bruce I could barely talk about my situation and now that all feels like a memory.
Really struggled with some difficult family issues. Treatment at OPA was respectful and lead me to be able to make some positive changes.
